Students have the option of taking 120 credits International Year based on module assessment taken at an Overseas University. If the module is passed, they will graduate with a degree in "MSci Sport Physical Education, and Coaching Science with International Year" or “MSci Sport, Physical Education and Coaching Sciences with International Year (With Leadership)” for those students who have taken LH Leading Self, LM Theory and Practice of Leadership and LM Leading Others. The mark for the international year will not contribute to the overall degree classification. If the student fails the Year Abroad, they revert to the standard MSci Sport, Physical Education and Coaching Science or MSc Sport, Physical Education and Coaching Science (With Leadership).
